Small things

My friend,Kutil, and me today found a very delicious Chinese noodle Restaurant in Pajeksan Street. Surya 8 Chicken Noodle.



It is a small restaurant. The taste of its noodle is so yummy. It has many chinese pictures hanging on the wall, and chinese songs. And the owner is so friendly.
We were talking with him about many things. About how he made the noodle, pangsit, meatball. About his interest to old houses and vintage things. And about his interest to Budda. Not the religion, but about the story behind the religion. He is Catholic, but know so many things about Budda. Many Biksu from many countries came to his resto couple times. He doesn't know why.
He was wearing a white T-shirt with Budda print. But this Budda is different than i always see. So, we asked him where he bought that T-shirt. He answered that he has the print. Surprisingly, he gave us the print. And told us that it is Dewi Tara (Tara Goddes). It is Tibetian version of Budda who united with earth and give the earth love.
We can see the statue in Mendut Temple in Central Java.

Not just a small nice noodle restaurant i've found, but it was also a short interesting story.
For sure i will come back there soon.
